The eternal breakfast dilemma: Sweet or savory?
Interesting question...well, um. Practically every morning I go for oatmeal, with some honey and plenty of cinnamon. It's healthy, it's filling and I love it. Or occasionally I'll make an egg and some toast with cottage cheese and guava jelly. But while I vacation in PR I usually eat some cereal I don't get over here (FRUITY PEBBLES, W00T!) or the best bread in the world (pan sobao). Any Puerto Rican knows that bread is awesome.

I know I'm only 14, and I still have plenty of time to think. But now I'm just plain worried. WHAT IN THE WORLD AM I GOING TO DO AFTER HIGH SCHOOL?
Now, I'm not stupid. I'm sure that I could do whatever I wanted, that is, anything not needing hardcore maths knowledge. So none of that chemical engineering my brother's up to.
It's just there are so many, many careers that I could choose but I can't think of any, except for 3 'ideas' of jobs.

MEDICINE

Why medicine?? I have no idea why! All I know is that Doctor's make big bucks and that I wouldn't mind saving people.
- I like knowing how the body works.
- I like helping people.

LAW

Admittedly the only reason I've truly started considering studying law is due to Phoenix Wright. I think I need to look into it more, but if it's anything like it is in the game defending people, poking out the contradictions...then I would totally consider this. But it isn't like that, is it? T_T My Mom said I could be a lawyer because I'm argumentative. -.-''

VIDEO GAME DESIGN

Some games are truly full of beautiful artistry; the characters, the places, the weapons - all these designs are things I could see myself playing a part in. Only thing is I'm not very good at drawing. Sure, I'm creative, I'm full of ideas, but I still can't put them on paper the way I need to be able to be a game designer!
A similar job like this that I'd also be interested in would be the designing of animated film.

*Sigh*
If any of you guys stumble upon this post and happen to read it, if you have any advice, ANY, please share. How did anyone figure out what they wanted to be? They had an automatic interest in it, I suppose? It's just so hard to narrow down the vast amount of choices there are out there...

Hmph. Well, this is a good question which I don't think I have many answers for.
Well, first of all: Continue to work out and lose weight.
Last year I started eating right and working out 5-6 times a week, and I was losing weight at 1 kilo a week! Which is great, right? And with that I ended up losing 10 kilos by the time Christmas came around. But it's 5 days until I get back on the plane home and I have no idea what to expect from the scale. Hopefully I didn't screw my good work up too much, but thankfully I'm only a few weeks off from my goal weight.

Secondly...socialize. This has been a pretty big problem since I got here...I mean, ever since I moved. I'm just majorly shy, and perhaps a little awkward. I just don't know what to say half the time! That is, if I'm not already friends with the person, and in that case, I'm not shy. Being outgoing and confident has several benefits that I want to be a part of so this year is my chance to try!

Third, I'd like to make some money. I used to babysit, and it was awesome 'cause all I had to do was put the kids in bed by 7 or so, then I was free to surf the web and watch Sky (English cable, which I didn't get in the Netherlands). But over in Spain I have no idea what I will do...if anything. No, but I must! I must earn enough money to fly to Curacao and see my beloved best friend again!

Four: Continue to pursue whatever hobbies I have/had. Find some new ones. Get interested in new things.
One of the lamest things of last year was that I didn't practice piano all year. I wasn't even that bad, but after I moved and no longer had a teacher to bug me to practice, I stopped! And I love the sound of good piano music. So I guess I will start practicing on my own!
I also wanted to start electric guitar; main incentive there though is the fact that I'd get that Hello Kitty Fender!
Other things I want to do? A martial art: especially tae kwon do I want to try, because I'd love to be able to kick EVIL PEOPLE IN THE HEAD (and these are the kind of thoughts you get from playing too many video games. Ah, Tekken).
I want to try basketball, volleyball, baseball and swimming, too. I like all these sports and if I could find a team I might like to join...although...I'm not very good at any of them.
Last, keep drawing. Because the more you draw, the more you improve, was it not? Practice makes perfect!

Five: Start wearing all the things I ever wanted to wear. Be more creative with my hair and makeup, do the whole mixing and matching thing but not so much that I look like a pre-schooler. ^^;

Oh, and. Next time I have to dress up. Dress up in 80's fashion. Totally awesome.
